A one-of-a-kind illuminated timber sculpture handcrafted in Taranaki by Dallas Corp, combining naturally weathered wood with dramatic internal lighting. Rich timber tones contrast with coloured light shining through the natural hollows and openings, creating a striking sculptural piece that changes character completely between day and night.

Description
The Molten Rock Lava Lamp has been created around the natural shape, texture and imperfections of the timber, allowing the existing hollows, cavities and weathering to become part of the finished design.
Rather than hiding these features, Dallas has used them to reveal the internal lighting, creating glowing points throughout the sculpture and drawing attention to the grain, colour and organic structure of the wood.
Mounted on a solid timber base, this piece works as both ambient lighting and sculptural timber art, making it ideal as a feature lamp, statement light or decorative focal point.
When illuminated, the coloured glow gives the piece a dramatic molten-rock effect, with light appearing through different openings and depths within the timber.
Designed and handcrafted in Taranaki, New Zealand, the Molten Rock Lava Lamp is completely individual and cannot be reproduced exactly.
