Description
This piece has been created around the existing shape, grain and natural character of the timber. Rather than forcing the wood into a predetermined design, Dallas allows its form, weathering, hollows and texture to guide the finished piece.
The recessed light sits within the timber, producing a warm glow that highlights the surrounding grain and creates depth through the natural contours of the wood.
The result is a unique piece of functional timber art that works equally well as a bedside lamp, table lamp, ambient light or sculptural décor piece.
