Description
Handcrafted by Dallas, this coffee table pairs a richly grained pūriri tabletop with a naturally sculptural pōhutukawa base. The gently irregular edges of the top complement the curves and contours beneath it.
The pūriri timber used for both the tabletop and its support is over 150 years old. Tunnels created by the pūriri moth have been filled with resin, preserving the distinctive markings within the timber.
The tabletop is finished in a sprayed two-pack (2K) urethane coating. The base is finished with resin and wax, highlighting its deep colour and flowing form.
Both a practical coffee table and a piece of timber art, this is a completely individual DJC Artistry creation.
Handcrafted in Taranaki, New Zealand, no two DJC Artistry pieces are exactly alike.
