A striking illuminated timber sculpture that transforms naturally weathered wood into a warm, sculptural feature. Rich timber tones contrast with glowing light shining through a natural opening, creating a piece that looks completely different by day and night.

Description
This one-of-a-kind DJC Artistry piece celebrates the natural shape, texture and imperfections of the timber rather than hiding them. The upright section has been carefully finished to preserve its organic character, with an existing hollow and natural opening incorporated into the design to reveal the internal purple lighting.
Mounted on a solid timber base, the piece combines sculpture with soft ambient light, drawing attention to the grain, colour and unusual form of the wood. When illuminated, the light shines through the natural openings, creating depth and a striking purple glow.
The piece was designed with relaxed, low-level lighting in mind — ideal as mood lighting beside a computer while working at night, or as a gentle night light in a child’s bedroom. It also works beautifully as a decorative accent light anywhere a softer atmosphere is wanted.
Designed and handcrafted by Dallas in Taranaki, this is a unique piece of functional timber art with its own individual character. The natural form of the timber means no two pieces can ever be reproduced exactly.
